Jason Liu

Jason Liu is responsible for Hyperion's capital markets. He brings decades of professional experience in Real Estate Private Equity. Prior, he was a Managing Principal at AmCap, a nationwide owner of US grocery anchored shopping centers. During his decade long tenure, he quintupled the firm's institutional investor asset base and led the firm’s strategy and hiring transformation, which eclipsed $1.2 Billion of US Grocery Anchored Retail properties.

His experience in Grocery Anchored Retail started with his first career at Procter & Gamble, where he was the youngest marketing and sales team leader in regional history. A former executive and Global Leadership Fellow at World Economic Forum (Davos), he formed China’s first international public private partnership.

Mr Liu holds an MBA from MIT, a BS from Cornell University- Joseph Granett Memorial Scholar, and was a visiting student at University of Oxford. He was a NCAA Division I heavyweight varsity rower. He is an avid traveler, outdoorsman, nine language polyglot, and a devoted father to two mini-mes.
