Mr. Greg Moross has over 25 years of expertise in commercial real estate, specializing in organizational platform development, managing institutional funds, attracting institutional investors and the acquisition and operation of retail real estate. As an Advisory Board member, Mr. Moross provides invaluable guidance to the organization, leveraging his extensive knowledge and network within the real estate investment, leasing, financing, fundraising, and operations fields.
Mr. Moross is the Co-Founder and former President of The Sterling Organization, a nationally recognized private equity real estate firm headquartered in West Palm Beach, FL. For the majority of his tenure, he served as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer before ascending to the role of President. Under his leadership, Sterling grew its portfolio to approximately 75 shopping centers, encompassing over 12 million square feet of retail assets valued at more than $2 billion.
As COO and President, Mr. Moross was instrumental in shaping and executing Sterling’s investment strategies. He led key operations, including leasing, asset management, property management, financing, redevelopment, construction, marketing, human resources, and corporate administration. He also served as Chairman and a member of Sterling’s investment committees and was accountable for the overall performance of its five institutional retail real estate funds.
Throughout his career, Mr. Moross has been a key decision-maker and investor in the acquisition of more than 110 assets, totaling over 18 million square feet and $2.5 billion in value. He directed a debt portfolio exceeding $1 billion, securing corporate, fund and property-level financing. Mr. Moross has cultivated a robust network of relationships throughout the retail commercial real estate industry, and his leadership has consistently optimized organizational operations, growth, and profitability.
Mr. Moross earned a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami Law School, where he was a member of the University of Miami Law Review. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Vermont.
